Many times people think that they must make profound New Year’s Resolutions or eliminate things from their life or add something to it. It always has to do with making you think you have done something wrong in the last year since what you wanted didn’t happen within 365 days.
But can everything be “fixed” or “changed” or “improved” in under a year since it took many years of habits, social influences, and negative thoughts to get you to this point.
So instead of beating yourself up for not losing weight or going to the gym, or finding true love or even learning to love yourself why not just look at what you want out of your life and create it and if it takes years- then that is ok because you are going forward and are doing something to improve your life not looking at the past year as a failure or that you can’t do something the next year.
So, envision what you want to be and what you want to receive in your life and make a plan to do it. Don’t worry if it isn’t completed by December 31.. be happy that it is time for you to love yourself and Â know that you are enough for now and that as each day goes and learn who you are and who you want to be then you will become stronger and become what you envisioned today…. so go out there and do it!
